Looking for radiant floor heating advice

We are planning on some kind of stone for the master bathroom floor (slate?), which leads to concern about freezing our tootsies off. I've just started reading up on electric radiant floor heating mats/rolls; essentially a very thin electric blanket installed in quickset under the stone. Has anyone got recommendations/experience/advice to share?

My advice: DO IT! It was originally in the plans here, but was pulled for stupid reasons. I soooooo wish that hadn't happened.

Talk to Eddie--he's seen a lot of radiant heat floor, and installed it for his dad's house when they were building it.

We had it installed in our master bath, and we LOVE it. The thermostat kicks it on at 6am, and by the time I get up for a shower, the floor is a toasty 82 degrees. Check out their website. http://www.nuheat.com/
