Shady advice

I'm looking for advice on roller shades. The reality of how large some of our west-facing windows are gonna be is starting to set in. Does anyone have a line on good, moderately-priced, sun-blocking roller shades? Clean lines and chain operation are what I'm after. I found these guys, but they just look expensive, don't they?

JC Penney has reasonably-priced ones. They are decent but not the best of course. We've bought shades from Smith & Noble too and they are more pricey but a bit better made I think.

Thanks, I'll check them both out. We're going to need a couple of them to be around 5' or 6' wide, I wonder if JCP makes them that big?

Having grown up with roller shades in the 70's, I lump them in with fake wood paneling and avacado toliets, so I can't offer much advice on this one. However, I'll back up Jocelyn regarding JCPenny. We recently bought Thermal Double Roman shades for the first floor, and we love them. Can't beat it for the price.

I know, I know. But I've somehow convinced myself that roller shades transcend the 70's. Maybe I should get them in merigold?!
